There is no such thing as "surface rust" on a painted vehicle. Also, knock sensor is probably due to cheap gas being used. I hope someone rescues this thing.

DO IT. Great looking car, that one has the right wheels, too. The i is a lot nicer than the il, IMO, from a looks/proportions standpoint.

If you look at the transporter 1, he is actually using a french 740i with a manual transmission... it is just a rebadged as a 750il ;)
The french 750il was automatic only for us too though :(

It IS a freaking awesome movie indeed... Love Statham, whatever he does. He is kind of the british Steven Seagal, but better... Only one facial expression, but still fun to watch him use it :)

Well, it really doesn't matter concerning the color and what have you. The E38 was well known in those two movies.
